Founder & Owner
Meet Sarah Farison, the founder and owner of InterAACtive Speech Therapy. As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Sarah brings her creative vision and expertise to the forefront of our practice. At InterAACtive, Sarah prioritizes building deep connections with clients, creating a foundation for them to thrive.
Sarah’s innovative approach integrates speech therapy with motor movement, enabling clients to connect with their bodies as they develop their communication skills. She is particularly passionate about helping non-speakers find their voices and has significant experience working with gestalt language processors and clients with apraxia.
In addition to leading our business, Sarah remains actively involved in providing personalized care to her own clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
Sarah serves clients in Anthem, New River, Glendale and Peoria.

Kennedy Goodwin, M.A. CCC-SLP
Owner & Therapy Director
Meet Kennedy, our Therapy Director and a certified Speech-Language Pathologist at InterAACtive Speech Therapy. Kennedy plays a pivotal role in our mission to help individuals find their voice, demonstrating a genuine understanding of our clients' needs and dedicating the time and energy to understand their unique communication goals.
In collaboration with our founder, Sarah Farison, Kennedy not only helps run our business but also provides personalized care to her own clients. Her approach is client-centered, ensuring each individual receives the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Josh Duerr, MBA, M.Ed Leadership, B.Sc Ed.
Owner & Business Director
Josh brings a dynamic blend of operations and education experience to our team. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Over the past two years, he served as the Regional Director of Operations, overseeing ten charter schools.
Before this role, Josh spent six years as the Executive Director of a multi-site church in North Phoenix, where he managed operations, finances, and human resources. He also has six years of experience in a South Phoenix charter school network, where he worked as a teacher and Dean of Students.
Josh’s extensive background in both education and operations ensures that our organization runs smoothly and effectively, always prioritizing the needs of our clients and staff.

Violet Peterson, B.S. SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Violet has a passion to help people in her community in any way possible and is blessed to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. She was born in Denver Colorado, but was raised in Arizona for most of her life. She graduated from NAU with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and finished NAU's SLPA program. She is committed to investing into any client that comes her way by strengthening their communication skills in a fun and exciting environment. She has had previous work in sensory regulation that has a beneficial outcome in sessions.
She loves working with young individuals who have a lot of personality and can easily build rapport with children. Violet would love to make a huge impact on someone's life and would love to see her clients growth throughout the years. (Even after therapy)
Violet knows that every child is different and will make sure they are treated as such with the most care for their well-being. She thrives to improve speech articulation/phonological disorders and wants to always grow in her field so she can give 110% effort in every session.
Violet is an outgoing and goofy character who loves being around people and supporting everyone around her. In her free time, Violet goes camping, enjoys traveling to new places and most importantly loves spending time with her husband and daughter at home!
Violet serves clients in North Phoenix, Anthem/New River, and Cave Creek.

Janelle Janssen, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Janelle is a dedicated and certified speech-language pathologist with a strong passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills. Originally from Kansas City, she now brings her expertise to Arizona, where she enjoys making a positive impact on her clients' lives.
Janelle specializes in working with young children to develop their language abilities and is highly experienced in supporting users of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered, following each individual's lead to create a personalized and effective treatment plan.
In her leisure time, Janelle loves exploring the great outdoors and discovering new coffee shops. Her enthusiasm for both her professional and personal interests shines through in all she does.
Janelle serves clients in South Phoenix, Avondale, Goodyear and Litchfield Park.
